This old style blade was origionally adapted from turn of the century English butcher knives. When bison was a valuable meat source for the early pioneers of our country, this knife would have faired well. I borrowed this bison design from a 26 thousand year old cave painting.

Other: All around general purpose outdoor utility knife. Diamondwood and micarta scales make this knife impervious to water, blood, chemicals, etc… This long straight clip point blade is excellent for tip penetration and fine detailed cutting when the need arises. The smallest splinter can be removed with this tip. I wouldn't go hiking without it!

Cyborg I $495

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Graphics: "Cyborg skull" motif on blade

Other: This heavy duty utility-tactical knife can take a beating. Awesome handle contouring for grip, exposed butt for pounding, multiple lanyard holes for tying or spear making, 2 position assertive thumb grip placement, and the tip? I call the tip "Diamond Point" It's ground horizontally and vertically at an abrupt 80 degree angle so it will hold up when tip penetration is critical. However, unlike many heavy duty tacticals, this one can slice a tomato super thin.

Smilodon $365

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Graphics: "Smilodon" skull on blade

Other: This could be described as a good all around medium sized camp knife. However, not so large as to detract from its general purpose and usefulness. The deep swedge on the top of the tip of the spear point blade allows for easy penetration when the situation arises. The exposed butt comes with a built in lanyard hole, glass
breaker and impact tool. You want to go for a hike in the woods, you've got it covered with this cat.

Wharn Skully $225

Graphics: Cyborg Skull

Other: "Built for Stout!" At a thickness of .200 inches but with a blade of only 2-3/8" long, this baby can go through doors, walls, whatever! The beauty of the Wharncliffe/hawk blade design though is its versatility. A handy little knife that's rigged to be carried as a belt or neck knife as well as light enough to be carried inside a jacket pocket.

Stay Alive (See Feature Knife page) $425

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Steel type: Various @ 60/61 hardness

Steel thickness: .200 in

Handle material: Canvas Micarta

Bolster material: Carbon fiber

Fittings: Stainless Steel

Blade length: 6"

Overall length: 11-1/2"

Knife weight: 10.5 oz. (15 oz. in sheath)

Graphics: Pterosaur logo

Other: I think this knife can be best described as a survival / camp / tactical / utility /
everything / heavy duty knife. At a thickness of .200 inches it's built for hard work. However, it's still a knife with a full flat/convex grind so it will cut with precision and comes razor sharp. It's equipped with a Marz "micro-tanto" for added tip strength as well as a jimped flat exposed butt designed for pounding, glass breaking and other impact related uses. Whether for leisure or for more serious survival endeavors, when things get tough, the object is to "Stay Alive".

Bone Hunter (mini) $315 (as shown)OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Fittings: Stainless Steel

Blade length: 2-3/4"

Overall length: 7"

Knife weight: 3.7 oz. (5.4 oz. in sheath)

Graphics: Pterosaur logo

Other: This is a nice little "good for almost anything" compact knife. Note the exaggerated front and rear finger choils making for a super comfortable grip. The almost universally functional drop point recurve blade speaks for itself. The knife comes with a leather sheath that can be worn as a neck knife, belt knife, or is light and compact enough to be tucked away in a jacket pocket. "I just might have to get me one of these"

SheathOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

All of my knives come with a heavy duty leather sheath which I personally make by hand. Each sheath is precisely designed to fit every knife model to exacting tolerances.

The sheaths are triple glued, screwed and secured with large rivets. Each screw is individually glued into place as well and the body of every sheath has been treated with 3 coats of leather sealer. Five coats in total are applied to the edge.As shown in the photo, these are deep carry sheaths so that the knife is secure and will not be susceptible to loss. As most of my knives come with a lanyard hole, the
knife can also be tied off utilizing the lanyard hole if the situation arises where one is concerned with loss due to walking through heavy forage, climbing, hanging upside down or whatever the case may be.

There are two options for sheath carry.

1.) Standard leather belt loop which will accommodate a belt up to 2-1/2 inches.

The standard belt loop is low profile and takes up very little space.

2.) ABS plastic swivel clip which will also accommodate a belt up to 2-1/2 inches.

The plastic swivel clip allows for the sheath to be carried in 8 different positions. This way the knife can be carried vertically, horizontally or at different angles and can be
adjusted while wearing. It has a thicker profile than the standard leather loop.
